DESCRIPTION
The Little Eagle filter combines the functionality of the Designer Countertop
(2000) with compact size. The Little Eagle utilizes a patented media combination
that removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants. The Little Eagle
includes a one (1) year warranty. The included, easily replaceable one
(1) year cartridge adds extra convenience and requires no tools for installation.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte
combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system.
In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy metals
on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards bacteria
growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and
odors are removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte
filtration systems leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
